Print stuck too hard to the bed
The print won't come off, or it tears pieces out of the bed surface when it does.

Try these in order
Most likely and quickest to check first. Change one thing at a time so you know what fixed it.
PETG or TPU on smooth PEI or glass
PETG and TPU bond to smooth PEI and glass so strongly they can pull the surface off.
- Use a textured PEI sheet for PETG.
- On smooth PEI or glass, put a thin layer of glue stick down as a release layer.
Nozzle too close on the first layer
- Raise the Z offset a little; the first layer only needs to be slightly flattened.
Taking it off while hot
- Let the bed cool fully. Most prints pop off a flexible sheet once it's cold and you bend it.
- Never pry with a metal scraper on PEI; use a plastic one if you must.
