Try these in order

Most likely and quickest to check first. Change one thing at a time so you know what fixed it.

  1. Layers too quick to cool

On a small layer, the next layer goes on while the last one is still soft.

    • Set a minimum layer time of 8 to 15 seconds in the slicer.
    • Print two or more copies, or add a sacrificial tower, so each layer has longer to cool.
  2. Not enough cooling

    • Run the part cooling fan at 100% for PLA, and check the fan and duct point at the nozzle.
  3. Too hot

    • Lower the temperature by 5 to 10 °C.
